Im pretty sure i saw 2 x USB-A ports, but I'll have another look. The rep didn't know how to hook up Android Auto and told me it was wired. Edit: just took a look at the specs. Only the GT trim has the USB-C ports and wireless Carplay/AA. The GS-L trim has the larger infotainment with the touchscreen for AA/Carplay. Oh well, not a deal breaker.
1. deleting the app (reset back to factory version - as you can't delete it off the phone) 2. updating the app via google play store. 3. clearing cache and deleting storage. 4. removing permissions / and allowing them again.
Method 1: Check Mazda Vehicle Compatibility with Android Auto. Only a few Maza models are compatible with Android Auto, so check if your Mazda model supports Android Auto before you try any solution. You can try several other alternatives to Android Auto if your Mazda doesn’t support it. So it seems there was something definitely wrong inside the CMU parameters that blocked my phone uid and did Android Auto to not start. Conclusions: it was NOT my ROM, Android version, google services version nor anything related to the phone, given that it had worked in other cars. Only doing factory reset made AA start working. Check your Bluetooth settings: Make sure that Bluetooth is turned on and that your phone is paired with your car's infotainment system. If your phone is paired, try unpairing it and then re-pairing it again. Check for Android Auto app updates: Occasionally, app updates can resolve connectivity issues. . 98 476 125 247 291 318 230 200
